Timeline:

6-Mar-17: I called Fullerton Healthcare office at 6664-3804 & was instructed to send a mail to ehs@fullertonhealthcare.com. The office sent me a form, which I needed to print out, fill in, sign, and send back the scan together with my passport. The office replied with a few appointment options.

7-Mar-17: The office confirmed appointment date & time.

11-Mar-17: I went to Fullerton Healthcare (391 B Orchard Road, #25-01 Ngee Ann City Tower B1, Central Region, 238874) for the medical check.

14-Mar-17: I received a Medical Information Sheet via email (click to see sample file). I uploaded this PDF file to my CIC EE and submitted the application.

Checks done as I remember:
+ Blood test
+ Urine test
+ Height, weight
+ Visual check
+ General questions (meet a doctor and verbally answer a list of questions about medical history like whether I have TB, heart disease, etc.)
+ X-RAY check (done at a nearby medical center: Radlink – Paragon)

Total money paid: SGD 278
Total time spent: ~3 hours

    Hi,

Can you please share me that the information sheet can tell us whether he/she is fit or not? I have referred to your sample, but can’t find such information, so how do we know?

    Thank you very much.

    Regards,
    An.

    Hi Hong An,

The only paper I received from the medical center is the Information Sheet you see in the post, which I uploaded to CIC.

The medical center sent all the results directly to CIC. No result was shared with me. So no, I didn’t know if I passed all the tests until I saw the word “Pass” on CIC online application.

I don’t know if there is a medical center that shares results with applicants. I heard that in Vietnam, if there’s something “wrong”, the center might call you to let you know, not sure how true is that.

If you are worried, perhaps it’s worth doing a separate check somewhere else where they explain the results. All the best.

      Hi,

      Thanks for your sharing 🙂

Yeah, I also read somewhere they told that the result will be informed by doctor as well, then if something is wrong, they will ask for more investigation or testing. But when going through some other threads, it is the same like your sharing above.
Look at your timeline, you got the information sheet quite early, you took examination on Saturday, but received that on coming Tuesday. I did the same just last Saturday, no email received yet. Hope for the best!!!!

      Thanks again. Cheers!

Thanks a lot for your detailed explanation of the medical exam. Could you let us know what needs to happen/the next steps after passing the medical exam?
