[Excel] Simple, useful scripts/macros
Collected and tested. I didn’t write any. Kudos to the experts.
Excel
I borrowed the handbook “The Spreadsheet at 25: The Evolution of the Invention that Changed the World” this morning because of its … small size. Turns out to be a pretty cool one about Excel. There are a few pages about Excel’s history, which I skimmed over cause ‘too stupid to appreciate its beauty and complexity’.
I just have a vague idea that I need to be grateful to … a series of people … dated back around 1850 when someone used rows and columns to describe an accouting system … then hallo to Lotus, Quattro Pro … er, lots of development till I have this Excel 2007 I love now.

I also just installed ASAP Utilities (http://www.asap-utilities.com/). Let’s see if I learn how to make use of it.

Pulau Ubin
Đi đạp xe ở Pulau Ubin với mấy người bạn. Mưa tè le. Khoảnh khắc ấn tượng trong ngày là lúc một nàng Trung Quốc đang đổ xe xuống dốc thì lạc tay lái, quẹo từ bên này đường sang bên kia đường, đâm vô trẻ em vô tội (là mình), sau đó bay thẳng cẳng xuống bờ cỏ kế bên.
Pulau Ubin còn khá hoang sơ, nhà gỗ lụp xụp, bốn bề là biển. Đi một chặp thấy mấy con heo rừng đi lang thang coi rất dễ thương. Cảnh mấy cái xuồng con con neo chơ vơ gần bờ làm mình nhớ đến phim “The bow” của Hàn. Phim chả hay, mà có mấy cảnh nhớ hoài.
Cách đi: từ Tampines MRT bắt bus 29 đi Changi Village –> xuống ở trạm cuối –> đi bộ ra bến phà, đón tàu đi Pulau Ubin (2.5$/người/lượt) –> chạy 10 phút là tới đảo. Tàu chạy khoảng 15 phút/chuyến, sức chứa … 12 người, khoảng 7:30pm là chuyến cuối.
Thấy bà con lên đảo chủ yếu thuê xe đạp chạy vòng vòng trong rừng (6-10$/xe/1 ngày), ăn đồ biển, uống nước dừa. Mới coi trên mạng, ở đây nổi tiếng với khu Chek Jawa, chẹp, sao giờ mới biết >.<.
Thế là xong ngày lễ Deepavali. Để mai rảnh coi đây là lễ gì :D.
